Time Travel

It was early on a hot day, when she opened her eyes, Ra just started his way across the sky.
Her sleep was not that relaxing so Nefertiri sighted and stood up.
There was no sense in trying to continue sleeping, it was simply too hot.
So she get dressed in her simple working clothes and walked out her small house and looked at the cloudless sky.
Nefertiri let her hand run trough her long black her before she decided to start agricultural work right now.
Around midday it would get even more hotter and then she would not have any ambitions to go to work.
She kneeled down next to some grown vegetables and started to care for them.
Suddenly Nefertiri felt like someone was watching her and looked up.
Nobody was there and she shooked her head.
Nobody would ever come out to this abandoned place, where the next human being was more than 1000 miles away, so who should watch her while

doing this stupid daily work?
Two hours later she finished that work and decided to go to the nearby river, after she looked down her body, that was filled with dirt of the

earth, she was digging in.
Nefertiri started to walk and again she felt this view on herself, stoped walking abruptly and turned around.
Again nobody was there...
"By Amun, am I going crazy?", Nefertiri whispered to herself and again shooked her head, before she continued walking towards the river, unable to believe she was feeling that strange.
When she arrived at the river, Nefertiri took a step into the cool water without taking off her clothes because they were filled with dirt too, so they might be cleaned after her bath. Plus, Nefertiri won't be naked when someone really was watching her, how she felt.
She walked a few steps down the river flow, before she dived into the water for getting her head free from her annoying thoughts.
There was noone outside who had enough interest in her to watch her while doing her work and while bathing.
Nefertiri was just a simple human with a noble name. The pharaos' daughter had the same as her.
A few moments later Nefertiri decided to go off the water, because she must have been clean now and some houseworks are waiting for her.
She climbed up the river bend and when she was on the hot ground, she put her hair over her shoulder and twisted it to let the water out.
Some water drops fell to the sandy ground when Nefertiri heard a sound like a strong wind was blowing and turned around.
Wind here in this always hot place? That could not be...
Again she looked around and finally she saw someone standing a few steps away from her.
A male person, shiny and transparent, like he was a ghost or something like this, dressed in noble egyptian clothes with bare breast and that muscles, Nefertiri liked with a man. A god?
Nefertiri stared at him, when the male made his way towards her.
"You are living in the wrong time area...", he whispered, after he stoped exactly infront of Nefertiri, "... go to the place where you are needed, Hathor. You are living at the wrong time area..."
He layed his hand on the forehead of the black haired girl, who felt a strong breeze and after that she fell asleep. It felt like falling asleep, maybe she was dead instead?
Why did he call her Hathor? She was no goddess, right?

When Neferiri opened her eyes again she was falling and heared the soft ringing of small bells.
She tried to identify the place around her, but mostly she was busy with screaming.
When she reached the ground she landed on something soft and looked into wide opened, shocked eyes, one green and one reddish-brown, covered with a scar.
